Pre-JSSF Online Session (2023)
This page contains information from JSSF 2023. It will be updated in early summer 2024 for JSSF 2024.
As we transitioned back to a face-to-face format for JSSF, we realized the value in having participants meet before their departure to Japan as it gives us a chance to share important final announcements and details and also gives participants a chance to meet up prior to the event and ask questions.
The JSSF organizing committee plans to hold two Pre-JSSF meetings on ZOOM following the schedule below. Specific information regarding the ZOOM Meeting ID and passcode will be emailed to each schools designated contact person.
We hope all the participating teachers and students can join the meeting but if they cannot make it, students buddies of your school will contact you and set up another meeting for them. Please let us know if none of the students/teachers from your school can join the meeting.

Exchange in breakout rooms (in random groups).
Icebreaker activities with Ritsumeikan buddies (school groups).

Please note that we will be using breakout rooms, so we ask that each student joins using separate devices. We also recommend that you use a headset for clear audio and to avoid feedback loops.
The specific information required to join the ZOOM meeting will be sent to the registered contact person at each participating school.
The ZOOM meeting room will be opened 15 minutes before the meeting starts.
